Built to Carry Vehicles

Driveway blocks are made to a specification that assumes cars will be parked on them every day for years. Because the surface is built from many small units bedded on sand, load is spread outwards rather than concentrated, and the blocks flex very slightly instead of cracking the way a rigid surface eventually does.

Nothing Seasonal to Do

There is no annual routine. Wash it down when it looks tired, run a jet wash over it occasionally, and top the jointing sand back up every few years so the blocks stay locked tight. That is genuinely the extent of the maintenance.

The driveway looks superb and the fence is solid, straight, and beautifully finished. Everything was completed on time and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish.   We are really pleased with our new resin and porcelain patio in our garden.  It was finished to a really high standard.  The team, who were very punctual and professional, worked hard and cleaned up really well after themselves when the work was done.  The whole operation was very smooth from Paul initially coming round to discuss the options and provide a quote, to Martin managing the team over the five days that they were there building our new patio.   We approached Amwell to do a design and deliver landscape project for our house.  The work involved stripping the existing area of overgrown trees, lawns and block paving drive from the front and back of our house.  These were replaced with a resin-bound drive , new patio, lawns and beds ready for planting. The design work was carried out by Paul Williams from Amwell.  He is a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional who was able to offer us advice and insights to achieve a better result and avoid costly mistakes.  He was not at all pushy and there was no hard sell.  Perfect. The work was done in less than 2 weeks and to a very high standard.
